Juliana Sutherland

Juliana Saterfield was born and raised in Houston.  Daughter of a singer and a night club owner, Juliana grew up to love music and the arts in general.  She fell in love with music and liked to play the piano and sing.  She trained in music during her school years and attended college on a music scholarship.  She decided to try music as a career and began auditioning and sending demo tapes to record companies.  She soon became disgusted at the dirty undertones of the record executives and the other musicians.  She quit trying to become a famous singer and settled into life as a life club singer.

Juliana moved to San Antonio to make a fresh start where no one would know her.  She bought a run down restaurant and reopened under the name Juliana's.  She sang and advertised for other local musicians to sing if they wanted to showcase their talents.  One night she met a man by the name of Brock Sutherland and she knew something was special about him.  She began to see Brock privately, and she hired him to help her renovate her club.  They closed down the club for a short period of time and reopened under the name Star Gazers.

Brock asked Juliana to marry him and she happily accepted.  Juliana became a mother to Douglas and Bethany.  She fell in love with Brock's children as much as she was with him and the children loved her in return.  Pamela became friends with Juliana when she visited her father and even began to trust Juliana.  They lived together as a happy family and were even happier when Juliana announced she was pregnant with Kali.

Juliana still runs Star Gazers and is well known among the locals.  She brings in local talent to sing and play music.  She acts like a mother to Bethany, Douglas, and is a very good mother to Kali.  Pamela respects her as a close friend and she often goes to Juliana as a confidant.  Juliana and Brock love each other as if they were newlyweds.
