Diego Chavez grew up in San Antonio. He grew up in a large family with several brothers and sisters. He and Rafael Escobar were friends through school, competing with each other in everything. When Rafael became involved in organized crime, Diego distanced himself from his friend, afraid that some kind of harm could come to his family because of Rafael's involvments.
One of Diego's little sisters, Manda, dated Rafael and the two seemed serious. One of Rafael's enemies killed Manda to hurt Rafael and Diego blamed Rafael. Diego set out to make Rafael pay for the loss of his sister.
Diego met Elena Bolivar while in college and immediately fell in love. While Diego was a completely dedicated, by the book guy, Elena was a wild child who loved to have fun in wild and unexpected ways. Diego asked Elena to marry him and she accepted. They have been married since college.
Diego is a prosecutor for the District Attorney's office assigned to organized crime investigation and prosecution.
