Abigail Byrne grew up in San Antonio. Daughter of a local politician and his mistress, Abigail grew up feeling inferior because her father never gave her the attention she felt she deserved. She and her sister, Renee, are close to one another because of the missing attentions of their father.
Abigail went to college with money that her father sent her. She became an investigative reporter and does her best to uncover the underhanded dealings of local politicians. She works at Jared MacKay's television station.
