Ramon Escobar is a man of pride and honor. He tries to do the honorable thing despite the cloud of his brother's activities looming large.
Ramon is the youngest boy of the Escobar clan. He grew up looking up to Rafael as a hero, wanting to be just like his big brother. However, when Ramon was old enough to understand what Rafael was doing, he rebelled. He wanted to honor their parents' memory by living up to the values they had tried to teach them, and he knew that Rafael would never be able to do that.
Ramon went to college and then to law school wanting to work on the right side of the law. When Rafael fell into some legal troubles, Ramon couldn't let his brother go through it alone. Ramon became his lawyer and spends most of his time keeping Rafael clear of any criminal charges.
The longer that Ramon remains a part of organized crime, the more he wants to get out. He is looking for anyway to get out of the business while keeping his brother safe.
