Amanda Kenyon is a dedicated doctor and mother. She cares about her patients as if they were family and she always looks out for their best interests.
Amanda Travis was born and raised in Houston, TX. She grew up in a small household where her mother was a dedicated housewife and her father was a doctor. She always loved her mother's caring and giving ways while she loved her father's dedication to his patients. She decided when she was very young that she would become a doctor and integrate the knowledge she gained from her parents. Amanda put herself through college and medical school by singing in night clubs before finally winning and academic scholarship that paid the remainder of her expenses.
Amanda was in her residency in Houston when she met Adam Kenyon. She knew instantly that he was the man for her and she fell in love. They were married and she hasn't regretted a day of her life with him. When her residency was completed, she recieved an offer from Alamo General and she has developed a successful career at the hospital. She now supervises the intern program and is on the faculty as a teacher to the new residents.
